Are you a young African ready to ignite change and make a lasting impact? Emerging Leaders Foundation-Africa invites young Africans, aged 18-35 years, who are passionate about addressing the following key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SGD-1 (No Poverty), SDG-4 (Quality Education), SDG-8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG-13 (Climate Action), and SDG-16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions for the iLEAD Fellowship Cohort 11.
The iLEAD Fellowship, an initiative of ELF-Africa, is a transformative leadership development and mentorship program with the values-based leadership philosophy at the core, which equips you with life skills, civic consciousness, and practical exposure to the world of work. Through a tri-dimensional approach of training, mentorship, and coaching, they provide the tools, platforms, and linkages needed to unlock your potential, inspire change, and thrive both individually and as part of a community. Through a rigorous three-step recruitment process, they select the most promising candidates who align with the vision of creating social, economic, and political transformation.
This is a six-month programme, held over 7 in-person/virtual modules. (Speak bout virtual and physical engagements) Participants will engage in a comprehensive curriculum that includes interactive workshops, practical case studies and collaborative projects. They will explore ethical leadership, decision-making, policy development, personal branding and effective communication.
A certificate of participation will be issued to every Fellow graduating from the programme. To receive a certificate, one must fully participate in all 7 training modules.
Who can apply?
- To be eligible for the iLEAD Fellowship you must:
- Be a young African aged between 18-35 years.
- Be a proven leader in your chosen profession, education institution or in your community and society.
- Be a citizen of any African country, whether living in Africa or in the diaspora
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
