Call for Applications: Halloran Fellowship (United States)

Deadline: 15 August 2024

Whether you’re a budding entrepreneur, innovator, or leader, the Halloran Fellowship is your ticket to bringing fresh, innovative ideas to life right here in the Bradford Area.

By joining the Halloran Fellowship, powered by Watson Institute, you will embark on a transformative journey in the heart of Bradford. It will provide hands-on entrepreneurial training, personalized mentorship, and venture development support that’ll ignite your rural dreams.

Pay the Impact Forward: Empower Your Communities through Basecamps

  • Fellows are divided into two groups and receive training, a playbook, and a financial stipend to facilitate a Basecamp – Basecamp, a term coined by Watson Institute, refers to a 1-2 day Impact Workshop led by a collaborative group of Fellows. Its purpose is to gather a minimum participant base, allowing Fellows to share their venture work, receive feedback, and network. Basecamps also offer participants a hands-on experience in exploring social impact through entrepreneurship. As a key deliverable of the Halloran Fellowship, all Fellows will facilitate a Basecamp event during their time in the program.
  • Fellowships are designed to educate, empower, and drive impact, with each element of the program contributing towards the long-term impact of the Halloran Fellows and their communities. Basecamps stand as a pillar of this journey. Fellows who have led successful Basecamps have unlocked opportunities for new partnerships, additional funding avenues, media exposure, and have created a ripple effect of deeper impact within the Bradford Area.
