The Bayer Foundation aims to bring diverse perspectives to science by offering opportunities to talented early career individuals without an academic background.
This fellowship can fund internships, research projects, personal development, and support for young parents pursuing further training.
Aim
- Support for talented people in the life sciences industry who are in training/on a bachelor’s degree (dual or part-time) and/or who completed their training a maximum of five years ago. Further training measures, internships or research projects are eligible for funding.
Funding Information
- Applicants are eligible for up to €10,000 in funding and can undertake fellowships for up to twelve months.
Eligibility Criteria
- This fellowship is for apprentices, dual students or early career professionals without a university degree and less than five years of employment. Applicants must pursue their current apprenticeship or profession in a German-speaking country (Germany, Austria or Switzerland).
- They particularly encourage applications from parents with children and people with German as a second language. Time taken for parental leave or other exceptional circumstances does not contribute to the five-year period.
