Apply for InteRussia Fellowship in Theatre Arts

The InteRussia program offers non-Russian actors a chance to get acquainted with Russian theatre practices, take part in scenic speech and acting workshops, meet recognised cultural figures, attend performances at leading Moscow theatres, and exchange experience with counterparts from different countries.

At the end of the program, the non-Russian fellows will prepare etudes featuring stage movement and excerpts from a play, which they will present at the final class.

Program Details 

• The programme will be held from August 24 to October 4, 2025.
• Location: Moscow, Russia.
• Working language: English.

Funding Information

• The organisers provide:
  • Travel from a place of residence to Moscow and back;
  • Double room in a hotel;
  • Visa support;
  • A scholarship of RUB 30,000 for the duration of the fellowship.
• The participants pay for:
  • Medical insurance;
  • Meals during the fellowship.

Eligibility Criteria

• In order to take part in the selection, applicants must meet the following requirements at the close of the application process,
• Non-Russian citizenship;
• Age 21-35;
• Proficiency in English (B2 level and above).

Selection Criteria

• Applicants for the fellowship will be selected on a competitive basis. The selection criteria include:
  • Candidate’s professional background
  • Quality of papers published by a candidate
  • Results of the (online) interview
