Aimed at leaders with at least 10-15 years of experience, the fellowship offers a platform for Africa’s brightest minds to refine their leadership capabilities and amplify their contributions to Africa’s development.

This fellowship seeks individuals who have made a tangible difference in their sectors, whether in business, government, civil society, arts, media, academia, technology or other critical areas. It is focused on professionals who not only lead but who have a deep passion for influencing Africa’s narrative, solving its challenges, and driving transformational change across diverse communities and industries.

The Elevate Africa Fellowship is rooted in the belief that African leaders are best positioned to address the continent’s unique challenges through collaborative leadership, innovation, and community engagement. The program provides fellows with the tools, knowledge, and network to accelerate their leadership journey and drive inspiring narratives- fostering transformative action that leads to enduring solutions.

Objectives

• The Elevate Africa Fellowship enlists, connects, empowers, and enables Africa’s highest-potential leaders across sectors. Fellows participate in an exclusive and intensive program that deepens their leadership development, amplifies their ability to develop catalytic innovations, and builds their capacity for narrative transformation on the continent.

Duration

• The fellowship program typically runs for a period of 10 months and includes various training sessions, workshops, and networking events. Fellows will convene physically at least twice in a year (March 2025, and October 2025) in two different African Countries.

Eligibility Criteria

• Professional Experience: Ideal fellows will be mid-career professionals aged between 25-45 with 10-15 years experience in their respective fields and a solid track record of leadership and excellence. They are open to any sectors and are flexible with the age and years of experience, so far you have a track-record of growth, impact, and excellence
• Nationality: Must be of African descent. You can be resident outside of Africa, but demonstrate commitment to the continent.
• Leadership and Impact: Demonstrated leadership in professional or community settings, with a clear track record of making a positive impact. Your conviction, identity, values, and passions exemplify transformative leadership.
• Commitment to Community Development: Demonstrated dedication to social change and community development, showcasing a passion for improving the lives of others. You are a strong advocate in a connected and collaborative Africa.
• Innovative Mindset: A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment. You demonstrate an ability to think in systems and dream big.
• Potential for Growth: Candidates should exhibit a desire to grow as leaders and contribute to their communities and sectors through the fellowship experience.
• Passion for Shaping Narratives: Potential candidates are able to demonstrate how they contribute to influencing, shaping, and promoting the positive narratives about the continent.
