The AAF Dallas Foundation Scholarship Fund provides one-year scholarships to current college students pursuing an associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in the many fields that make up the advertising and marekting family.
Funding Information
- Up to $2,000 total per student.
Eligibility Criteria
- In order to apply students must be classified as either a sophomore or junior in college, or working towards a master’s degree.
- Eligible students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Students must attend a collegiate institution in Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Grayson, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Rockwall and Tarrant Counties.
- Applicants must be United States citizens or documented legal residents of the United States.
Selection Criteria
- Selection criteria will primarily focus on career ambitions in advertising and/or marketing, contributions to the collegiate advertising/marketing community, financial need, and school and community participation. However demonstrated leadership potential, essay response, letters of recommendation will also be taken in to consideration.
- Applicants are required to complete an essay and encouraged to submit an explanation of financial need. Applicants must also submit at least two letters of recommendation. Letters of recommendation may not come from family members or friends, but must be written by teachers, employers or other professional colleagues.
- In addition to the requirements listed above, applicants will be required to complete an essay focused on ambitions within the industry.
