Deadline: 25 May 2025
Entries are now open for UfM Energy and Climate Action Youth Delegate Programme, a new initiative by the Union for the Mediterranean that places young people at the heart of climate and energy decision-making in the Euro-Mediterranean region.
Designed as a twelve-month journey, the programme equips emerging leaders (aged 20–30) with the tools, knowledge, and platforms to contribute meaningfully to regional climate action and energy governance.
Participants – known as Youth Delegates – will engage in high-level policy dialogues, co-design climate initiatives, participate in regional and international events (such as COP30), and benefit from expert mentoring by the UfM Energy and Climate Action Division. This non-remunerated, non-contractual programme promotes capacity-building and peer exchange while highlighting youth as co-creators of sustainable solutions.
