The Gerald Moore Gallery is pleased to invite submissions to this year’s Open Call Portrait Painting Exhibition: Nice to see you!
Nice to see you! aims to celebrate the very best in contemporary portraiture from artists based in London and the South East. This open call is for relevant pre-existing works by both self-taught and more established artists. Each artist can submit 1 artwork.
Duration
- Selected works will be exhibited at the Gerald Moore Gallery from 6th March – 12th April 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
- Artist must be based in London or the South East.
- Selected artists will be contacted by Wednesday 5th February and works will need to be delivered to the gallery by Saturday 22nd February at 4pm.
- Selected artworks will need to be picked up after the exhibition from Tuesday 14th April to Saturday 19th April 2025.
- The gallery is situated within the grounds of a school and the works will need to be appropriate for young audiences.
Application Requirements
- Open to all artists in London and the South East. Painting or painted artwork.
- To Submit:
- Please fill in the Google Form. You will need a Google account to submit the form.
- Send an image (of no more than 2mb) with a short description of the work including the title, media, year of production and dimensions. Please include your name, email, Instagram and a link to your website.
