The Feel More Creative is thrilled to officially launch Dreaming, the sixth photographic open call from Felt Photographic! Submit your images that express our universal human experience of deep processing, manifestation, imagining or longing.
The Felt Photographic Gallery exhibits international photographic artwork via open calls, curated entirely on the felt sense, from how the panel select images to how the gallery is arranged. Unlike other open calls and competitions, there’s no scoring, critique, technical appraisal or judging, just the invitation to all to experience photography from an embodied perspective – to feel what you’re looking at, notice where you’re having a strong response and what this might be reflecting for you.
Felt Photographic exists to celebrate our fundamental call to create, challenge the norms of artistic judgement and give artists an alternative route to be seen – to show art that otherwise might not get to be seen. The aim is to level the playing field and bring people back to their shared humanity.
Eligibility Criteria
- Any photographic artist (pro or amateur) over 18 may submit their work.
- Max one image per artist, open to worldwide submissions.
Application Requirements
- Work can have been completed at any time but must be devised, created, owned and photographed (including post production) by the submitting artist alone (no workshops or other training shots permitted) and have been created for emotional expression, responding to the title, Dreaming.
- Work must be submitted via the online form only with jpg files no larger than 2MB; stills only, no moving graphics and without watermarks.
- Please title your image with your Name and Social Media Handle.
- Any AI, art other than photography and non-original compositional elements (including stock photography) that are not photographed and owned by you, may not be used.
