The International Renaissance Foundation has announced scholarship competition for video bloggers who develop Ukrainian identity among teenagers and young adults.
Interesting, innovative, socially significant projects may apply for support outside the announced competitions. They want to support video bloggers who are not afraid to work with a teenage and youth audience, speak to them as equals, choose relevant forms, do not lose depth and at the same time not be boring. The videos you create can become the entry point from which someone’s self-awareness as a Ukrainian begins.

Funding Information
- Scholarship amount: from 100 to 150 thousand hryvnias.
- Project duration: up to 6 months.
Eligible Activities
- Video production: filming, editing, graphics, etc.;
- Promotion on social networks and platforms;
- Purchase of equipment;
- Traveling around Ukraine for filming;
- Online services needed to create videos.
Ineligible Activities
- Payment for Russian or Chinese services, advertising in Russian or Chinese social networks;
- Things not related to video production or preparation.
Eligibility Criteria
- A special focus of this year’s competition is content that shapes identity among teenagers (13-17 years old) and young adults (18-24 years old).
- Not only the topics are important, but also the way of presentation: language, form, humor, aesthetics – everything that helps to be closer to a young audience.
Application Requirements
- Activity: the channel has been updated at least three times in the last 6 months, including at least 1 time in the last 2 months (as of 05/15/2025);
- Channel age: at least 6 months;
- Number of subscribers: minimum 3 thousand subscribers on YouTube or 10 thousand subscribers on Instagram;
- Language: content in Ukrainian;
- Uniqueness: the content is copyrighted, the use of third-party materials is possible only under fair use conditions;
- Values: The channel’s values are consistent with the principles of democracy and an open society.
