Deadline: 7 July 2024
The Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage of Chile, the Institut Français of Chile, and the Cité internationale des arts in Paris are launching a call for the residency program, aimed at artists and curators working and residing in Chile, to promote and facilitate their international mobility, as well as to expand their professional network.
This residency program is part of the promotion of creative ecosystems, with a multisectoral perspective and new technological processes. In this context, the candidate curators and artists are invited to conceive a research and/or creation project on the following theme: Technology and Digital Innovation: Articulating new technological and digital processes in creative development, considering the challenges of the contemporary world. This theme invites the development of new forms of expression, transmission of concepts and ideas based on the heterogeneous relationship that arises from new technologies and artistic or creative expressions. This call invites to rethink the relationship between art and technology or digital innovation in its processes.
As part of this program, two three-month residencies are offered at the Cité internationale des arts in Paris:
- A research-creation residency for artists

Artists or curators welcomed in residence at the Cité internationale des arts will be able to organize their working time according to the needs related to the research they wish to undertake.
