The Goethe-Institut Jordan, in cooperation with the Austrian Embassy, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and the Embassy of Poland in Amman, are looking for an engaged individual to identify and gather information on underused properties that can be repurposed for cultural initiatives.
The project REPURPOSE aims to transform vacant urban spaces in central Amman into temporary cultural hubs.
Services
- Searching for available buildings:
- Identify vacant or underutilized buildings in central Amman suitable for temporary cultural use
- Contacting property owners:
- Reach out to property owners to inquire about availability and interest in participating in the project
- Categorizing and evaluating properties:
- Create a list of potential buildings, categorizing them by suitability, condition, and location for cultural use
- Photographing and documenting:
- Visit buildings to take photos and document key details for assessment
- Reporting and recommendations:
- Provide detailed reports on each building, including photos, assessments, and recommendations
- Ongoing updates:
- Regularly update the project team with progress and new findings
Eligibility Criteria
- Based in Jordan
- Good English language skills
