The Public Call for innovative solutions for green transition is opened within the project “EU for Green Agenda in Serbia”, which, with the technical and financial support of the European Union and a partnership with the Ministry of Environmental Protection, is implemented by UNDP in cooperation with the Embassy of Sweden and the European Investment Bank (EIB), with additional funding from the governments of Sweden, Switzerland, and Serbia.
The solutions are to be proposed in the following areas of the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans:
- decarbonisation (reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions),
- environmental pollution reduction, with a particular focus on air,
- protection and conservation of nature and biodiversity, and
- development of rural and sustainable food supply systems.
Benefits
- The best-received proposals will receive mentoring and technical support for further development, while the most successful among them will be provided with co-financing for their application in practice.
Eligibility Criteria

They are inviting public and private companies, research institutions, civil society organisations, agricultural associations, cooperatives, agricultural holdings, local government units, and managers of protected areas.
