Developed by the British Council and Cultural Associates Oxford and implemented in cooperation with Culture Unleashed in Turkey, the ‘Supporting the Creative Economy’ hybrid learning program welcomes applications from experts and mid-level executives working in the public sector, as well as professionals working in the cultural and creative industries and interested in policy development.
The program, which will be held from September 20 to October 20, 2023, aims to develop effective policy for the creative economy, strengthen capacity and increase the quality of research and development.
About the Program
- ‘Supporting the Creative Economy’ provides industry professionals with new ideas and tools to support the cultural and creative industries in their city/region/country, as well as expand their professional networks in the UK and internationally. The education, which will cover many areas from branding to digital transformation, from entrepreneurship to cultural heritage, aims to share information about the impact and role of the cultural and creative industries, to establish new connections, to develop policy solutions and to create a common language.
- The ‘Supporting the Creative Economy’ learning program, which has been carried out by the British Council for two years, will be translated into Turkish with a detailed analysis and literature review for Turkey in collaboration with Culture Unleashed. Culture Unleashed, co-founded by Emre Erbirer, Mustafa Gül and Gökçe Dervişoğlu Okandan, experts in the field of creative economy in Turkey, includes digital and face-to-face seminars, panels and workshops in the four-week program. All participants who successfully complete the ‘Supporting the Creative Economy’ program are entitled to receive a certificate.
