Open call for Young Choreographers to create a Show (Italy)

The artist must be able to present, in addition to the artistic idea and creative imagery, a concrete vision indicating the development of the creative and productive process of one’s own choreographic idea.

In relation to the project to be developed during the residency period, the selected choreographer will also be able to have artistic consultancy and support in all the stages of setting up the project that will lead to his/her debut in the theatre.

Benefits

• The selected choreographer will get:
  • A cash prize of €400.00
  • Coverage of travel, food and accommodation costs in Genoa during the creation period
  • Possibility to hold (unpaid) a workshop in Genoa
• Required duration of the choreography: approximately 15\20 minutes.

Eligibility Criteria

• Only applications from choreographers aged between 18 and 35 will be accepted.
• Each candidate can submit a single choreography project (existing or new).
