Deadline: 11 June 2025
Are you a designer, maker or observer in the field of digital culture? Do you want to research and develop new work in Hong Kong through various forms of media art that focus on social and urban dynamics? The Creative Industries Fund NL is offering a residency period at media art institution Videotage in Hong Kong in the spring of 2026.
The Videotage residency encourages crossover and experimentation, and offers an opportunity to learn from other perspectives and ideas. Participants will have the space to research, broaden their network, and develop new work with a focus on social and urban dynamics in Hong Kong. They will be able to explore new areas of work, broaden their creative practice, and produce work that pushes the boundaries of digital culture. The 2026 edition takes the concept of liminal space as a starting point and invites participants to explore this theme within the context of the residency.
