The Stony Thursday Book is seeking submissions from local, national and international poets for its next issue, to be published in Winter 2025.
The Stony Thursday Book is one of the longest-running literary journals in Ireland and this will be its 47th edition, No.21 in the new series. This year marks the 50th Anniversary since the founding of the Stony Thursday Book.
Eligibility Criteria
- Local, National and International Poets are eligible to apply.
Application Requirements
- Each poet should submit up to 3 poems.
- All work should be submitted in .doc or .pdf – they recommend using .pdf to maintain poetry layout and formatting.
- Submitted poems must not be previously published or currently pending publication.
- Each poet should include a short bio (max 50 words).
- Submissions are accepted from local, national and international poets.
- Texts in other languages are welcome, if poets wish to send an accompanying English translation they may.
