Open Call for Digital Exhibition: Transcendence – Beyond Boundaries

In the face of the technology, this virtual exhibition aims to create the dialogues between art and technology, investigating the future issues together with 2050 community in Yunqi Town, Hangzhou.

As fire marked the starting point of human civilization, technology has accelerated the exploration of creative dimensions. Have you ever thought about what the world will look like in 2050? Technology innovation continuously reshapes the definition of human beings and fundamentally changes the formulation through which they understand the world.

SUAVEART will launch a digital exhibition themed “Transcendence – Beyond Boundaries” at “2050, where Science and Technology Bring Young People Together,” this year. Hopping that during this event they will be able to introduce a futuristic diversity of the ecological sustainability.

The world they live in today has evolved with the combination of human-computer interaction. Data, CPUs and curiosity are leading them to a multifaceted interpretation of imagination, reality, and symbolism. The world constantly undergoes challenging dialectics, thus reflecting on the virtual world allows them to complement the realistic spiritual definition of artificial landscapes.

What is nature to them?

• In this layer-by-layer exploration of the virtual world, through artistic interpretation, the diversity of part of science is unfold, reflecting the past of the universe and the future shape of mankind. Simultaneously, it reminds mankind of the meaning of “life” and how they will redefine and position themselves and others in the borderless galaxy. How should they understand the relationship between human beings and the natural ecology.

Eligibility Criteria

• They would like to invite digital artworks based on data, algorithms, and immersion to submit. The theme can be about technology, civilization, future, ecology, life, etc.

Criteria

• No political, pornography or hate artworks will be accepted.
• The Statement confirming you are the author of the original artwork, and it does not infringe the rights of any third party.
• Submitted and selected artworks will be promoted on the SUAVEART and 2050 websites, social media platforms, and newsletters, if necessary. Images will be credited to the respective artists, who retain sole copyright for their work.
• Once your artworks are selected, they will assist to bridge and communicate with technical support team at venue. The resolution should be in high quality (300dpi) when the exhibition take place. Do not send images of your work that contain watermarks or frames.
• Works will be judged based on creativity, originality, quality of work, and overall artistic ability.
• The scales of screen are different from ordinary, please be aware of Main screen 42.5*4M (10880*1024px) can be divided into 5 areas, and Side screen 17*4M (4352*1024px). Numbers are provided by technical team. If you have further questions, free to mail them.
• There is no payment required for this submission, nor is any remuneration provided.
