The Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN) with its Digital Rights Monitor Program are inviting an individual with a keen interest in digital rights to work within the Digital Rights Programme as Digital Rights Monitor for Croatia.
With local organizations across the Balkans and an editorial presence in other countries, BIRN is dedicated to empowering people to access their rights, providing accurate information, and fostering democratic processes.
BIRN Hub’s Digital Rights Monitoring Activity is grounded in human rights and democratic principles, reflecting BIRN’s commitment to media freedom, the rule of law, transparency, transitional justice, internet freedom and victims’ rights.
Eligibility Criteria
- A Bachelor’s degree in journalism, digital rights, law, media studies, or a similar field is required, along with a proven interest and experience in working on human and/or digital rights projects as well as in research, writing and analytical work.
