The Starving Artist is thrilled to invite talented and passionate artists to participate in the upcoming virtual exhibition and publication, “Not Another Fish in the Sea.”
This unique showcase will explore the critical issues surrounding ocean conservation and marine/fish protection. “Not Another Fish in the Sea” seeks to shed light on the pressing challenges faced by the oceans and marine life. Artists are encouraged to express their perspectives through various mediums, highlighting the beauty, struggles, and importance of conservation in oceans.
The Starving Artist initiative empowers people through creative arts, putting lived-in experiences at the forefront of systemic reform. They aim to promote authentic and vulnerable engagement discourse and bring about change within current systems platforming people centered solutions. Their focus is on championing emerging voices from the creative arts and teaching individuals to explore their experiences and express themselves creatively. They cover a wide range of topics including mental well-being, eating disorders, preventable diseases, women’s rights, migrant experiences, and climate action. Through artistic voices, exhibitions, publications, workshops, and more. They connect artists, individuals, and key players to collaborate and drive transformation.

Eligibility Criteria
- Locations: Global submissions welcomed
- Ages: Open to artists of all 13+ due to sensitive topics
- Number of works: Each artist may submit up to 10 pieces.
