The U.S. Embassy in El Salvador is pleased to announce its call for nominations for the Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence (S-I-R) Program for the academic year 2025-2026.
Funding Information
- Monthly Stipend: $4,805
- Program Length: 10 months
Eligible Activities
- The selected S-I-R will teach up to two courses per semester, participate in departmental programming and professional development opportunities, and engage in planning sessions for Dual Language Programming within the CFES Department.
- The scholar will also attend monthly staff meetings, participate in the yearly workplan, and contribute to department workshops, professional development opportunities, and curriculum design.
Eligibility Criteria
- This opportunity is open to scholars specializing in Early Childhood & Elementary Teacher Training, with a focus on Dual Language Programming.
Application Requirements
- A dossier, CV, or resume provided by the Fulbright SIR Candidate
- A completed English language proficiency form (at a later date by invitation)
- Two letters of reference on behalf of the scholar
- A letter from the scholar’s home institution stating that the scholar will receive leave of absence if selected for the Fulbright grant
- Passport bio-data page for the scholar.
