Intercontinental Bienal Open International Call for New Artists (Painting)

The Intercontinental Biennial is an organization promotes the art, and design, performance industry. The Biennial crosses continents with the best artworks and visual expressions of artists from all over the world.

CEOs, board chairmen, executives, creatives, art directors, artists, producers, directors, marketing and advertising managers, design companies, technology managers, brand managers, local and foreign journalists, human resources managers, headhunters, as well as new talents in the arts, design and performance will be part of the Intercontinental Biennial, an artistic and cultural initiative that travels the world with the best visual expressions from all continents.

Applications & Specifications

• All participants agree to comply with the following considerations:
  • Open international call for new artists. Open call for artists from the Intercontinental Biennial who wish to apply for a category other than the one in which they were selected.
  • Projects from any country in the world can participate. Studios, companies, as well as independent professionals may participate. If the work infringes plagiarism or intellectual property rights, the sender will be solely responsible.
  • Participants authorize the organization to release the images of the project in the media and digital platforms deemed appropriate, respecting at all times the copyright.
  • All projects received will enter a selection process. The projects selected in the process will be certified and recognized by the Organizing Committee. The selected projects will participate in the Intercontinental Biennial exhibition whose presentations and exhibitions include countries from America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania.
  • The selection of the artworks will be the responsibility of the organizing committee. Any objection provided for or not in the bases will be resolved by the Biennial definitively and without appeal.
  • Describe each project in a PDF or Word file.
  • Free theme, free technique. Participants will decide the number of projects they wish to submit. Name each project to be submitted as follows: Country of origin, followed by the name of the painting and your first and last name. You may submit up to a maximum of two works. Size up to a maximum of 90 cm. wide x 120 long «or» 120 cm wide x 90 cm. long. Therefore, works of much smaller sizes than those indicated may also be submitted. Attach image, photograph or scan of the artwork and compress it in zip or rar.
