The Ministry of Tribal Affairs in collaboration with MyGov invites entries for the Happy Moments in Tribal Areas Photography Contest, aimed at celebrating the joy, cultural vibrancy, and resilient spirit of tribal communities across India.
Through your lens, help them portray an authentic and positive narrative of tribal life—festivals, traditions, daily activities, and cherished moments that reflect their unique identity.
Funding Information
- 1st Winner will be rewarded ₹15,000
- 2nd Winner will be rewarded ₹10,000
- 3rd Winner will be rewarded ₹5,000

- The contest is open to all Indian citizens.

Application Requirements
- The photograph must be original.
- There must be no border, logo, copyright marks, identifying marks or any other visible references and/or marks on the image.
- Photograph should be of HD Quality, theme based only, should be in JPEG/PNG or PDF format.
- A unique title and description of the photograph to be provided.
- Photos that portray or otherwise include inappropriate and/or offensive content, including provocative nudity, violence, human rights and/or environment violation, and/or any other content deemed to be contrary to the law, religious, cultural & moral traditions, and practices of India, are strictly prohibited and will be immediately discarded.
- Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses.
- Submitted photos must be created and/or taken by the contestant. It must not contain any materials owned or controlled by a third party for which you have not obtained a license, and must not infringe the copyright, trademark, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity
