Deadline: 25 October 2024
The French Institute is seeking proposals for its International City of Arts Residency program aimed at artists and cultural professionals who have been living abroad for at least 5 years and who wish to develop a research and creative project in Paris during a three, six or nine-month residency.
The artists are supported by one or more cultural partners (French cultural network abroad, French or foreign cultural structures – art center, association, gallery, museum, approved structure, theater, production venue, concert hall, festival, etc.) who submit their application and then cover their international travel and living allowance. The Institute offers the winners the free allocation of a studio-apartment within the International City of Arts.
The International City of Arts is located in Paris, on two separate sites and has 325 studio-apartments. The management of 22 studio-apartments is delegated to the French Institute by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs.
