The Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation (DDWS), Ministry of Jal Shakti in collaboration with MyGov is organizing a Reel-Making Contest for citizens to showcase benefits and efforts made by Swachh Bharat Mission and Jal Jeevan Mission to transform villages into “Swachh Sujal Gaon”.
The two flagship programs of Government of India – Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) and Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) represent a transformative phase in India’s Water & Sanitation narrative, driven by a history enriched with ancient innovations and bolstered by contemporary governmental efforts.
Inviting Indian citizens to create a suitable video (in reel format) that should value and serve as a celebratory message to communicate the importance of the Jal Jeevan Mission & Swachh Bharat Mission-Grameen.

Funding Information
- Every month, the Top 05 (Five) Best Reels will be chosen as winners, and each winner will be awarded a prize of ₹5,000/- (INR Five Thousand only).
Eligibility Criteria
- This contest is open to all citizens of India.
Application Requirements
- Format: Videos should be in MP4, AVI or MOV format.
- Resolution: Minimum 720p resolution.
- Duration: Each video may be upto 90 seconds to 150 seconds long.
- Language: Videos can be in Hindi, or English. Please include subtitles if the video is in a regional language.
- No offensive language or derogatory content will be allowed. All submissions must be original and not infringe on existing copyrights or trademarks.
- Organizers are not liable for lost, late, incomplete, or technically flawed entries. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt.
- Organizers reserve the right to disqualify or restrict harmful or detrimental participation. Proof of identity may be required.
- Complete and accurate information is required for registration. Illegible/incomplete registrations will be void.
- Only Aadhar bridge payment will be considered for prize money, if awarded.
- Participants will be required to provide their name, email address, telephone number, and additional details as required at the time of registration. By submitting their details and participating in the contest, participants give consent to Ministry of Jal Shakti to use this information as required.
