The Crimean Tatar Resource Center has announced a creative poster competition dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the celebration of the Crimean Tatar Flag Day, which is celebrated annually on June 26!
The flag is more than a symbol. It is the voice of the people, the memory of the homeland, and a symbol of the fight for justice. Show them how you see it! Participate in the “Flag that unites generations” competition – create, inspire, win!
Funding Information
- 1st place — Large wall map of Crimea with historical names of settlements + Crimean Tatar flag measuring 100 by 70 cm
- 2nd place — Puzzles of the map of Crimea with historical names of settlements + Crimean Tatar flag, size 100 by 70 cm
- 3rd place — T-shirt with an exclusive print designed by activists of the #LIBERATECRIMEA movement + Crimean Tatar flag measuring 100 by 70 cm
Eligibility Criteria
- They invite everyone: artists, designers, amateurs, and anyone who feels the power of the flag to create a unique poster that will reveal the idea of freedom, dignity, invincibility, and identity of the Crimean Tatar people, as well as their inextricable connection with Ukraine, the Ukrainian people, and the struggle for a common victory.
Evaluation Criteria
- The evaluation of the works will be based on two criteria:
- Number of likes on Facebook of the KRC;
- Assessment by an independent expert committee.
Application Requirements
- Competition conditions:
- The poster must have a connection with the Crimean Tatar flag (tamga, colors, symbolism, ideas of unity and resistance, etc.).
- No plagiarism.
- The work can be drawn by hand or created in a graphics editor.
