The Ministry of Tribal Affairs in collaboration with MyGov invites citizens to actively participate by dressing up as these iconic heroes.
Through this engaging initiative, they aim to increase awareness of the invaluable contributions of tribal leaders in India’s freedom struggle while nurturing a sense of national pride and historical consciousness.
Participants are encouraged to dress up as Bhagwan Birsa Munda or any other tribal freedom fighter and submit a photograph that reflects their tribute to these inspiring figures of India’s past.
Funding Information
- First Winner will be rewarded ₹15,000/-
- Second Winner will be rewarded ₹10,000/-
- Third Winner will be rewarded ₹5,000/-
Eligibility Criteria
- The contest is open to all Indian citizens.
Evaluation Criteria
- Authenticity: Accuracy in representing the chosen freedom fighter’s attire and persona.
- Creativity: Innovative presentation and originality in costume design.
- Presentation: Quality of the photograph, including clarity and composition.
- Narrative: Depth and relevance of the accompanying description.
Application Requirements
- The photograph must be original.
- There must be no border, logo, copyright marks, identifying marks or any other visible references and/or marks on the image.
- Photograph should be of HD Quality, theme based only, should be in JPEG/PNG or PDF format.
- A unique title and description of the photograph to be provided.
- Photos that portray or otherwise include inappropriate and/or offensive content, including provocative nudity, violence, human rights and/or environment violation, and/or any other content deemed to be contrary to the law, religious, cultural & moral traditions, and practices of India, are strictly prohibited and will be immediately discarded.
- Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses.
- Submitted photos must be created and/or taken by the contestant. It must not contain any materials owned or controlled by a third party for which you have not obtained a license, and must not infringe the copyright, trademark, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity.
