The National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India in collaboration with MyGov is proudly announcing a nationwide painting contest!
They invite artists of all ages to capture the essence of agricultural cooperation through vibrant visual expressions that highlight the spirit of collective action, rural transformation and farmer empowerment.
Through this contest, they aim to celebrate the visual depiction of how cooperation has transformed India’s agricultural landscape. Paintings can illustrate success stories of cooperative farming, the impact of cooperative schemes on rural communities, or symbolic representations of agricultural solidarity. Let your brush strokes tell the powerful story of cooperation!
Thematic Areas
- Create artwork that illustrates one or more of the following:
- Agricultural cooperatives transforming rural landscapes
- Farmers working together through cooperative societies
- Benefits of cooperative marketing and value addition
- Women’s participation in agricultural cooperatives
- Cooperative principles in action
- Farm to fork journey through cooperative channels
- Symbols and metaphors representing agricultural cooperation

- 1st Prize: Premium NAFED Gift Hamper + Certificate

- Exhibition:
- Top 50 artworks will be featured in a physical exhibition during NAFED’s IYC celebration event
- All shortlisted entries will be showcased in a digital gallery on NAFED’s official website
- Calendar Publication:
- Selected artworks may be featured in NAFED’s special IYC commemorative calendar for 2026
- Special Recognition:
- Top 20 participants will receive certificates with felicitation from the Managing Director, NAFED
Eligibility Criteria
- Entry into the competition is open to all Indian citizens.
Ineligibility Criteria
- Employees of the NAFED and directly or indirectly connected with organizing the competition are not eligible to participate in the competition. This ineligibility also applies to their immediate family members.
Application Requirements
- Medium: Participants may use any of the following:
- Water colours
- Oil paints
- Acrylic
- Pastels
- Mixed media
- Size: A3 (297 × 420 mm) or A2 (420 × 594 mm)
- Submission Format:
- High-resolution digital photograph or scan of the artwork (JPEG or PNG format)
- Minimum resolution: 300 DPI
- Maximum file size: 2 MB
- Original Work: All submissions must be original and not previously exhibited.
