Deadline: 10 September 2025
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development is seeking applications for its Co-operative Research Programme for Sustainable Agricultural and Food Systems to strengthen scientific knowledge and provide relevant scientific information and advice that will inform future policy decisions related to the sustainability of agriculture, food, fisheries and forests.
It does this through facilitating international co-operation among research scientists and institutions, by sponsoring international events (conferences, workshops) and individual research fellowships, placing a policy emphasis on all the activities it funds. It focuses on global issues such as food security, climate change, and the inter-connectedness of economies through trade and scientific co-operation.
The CRP aims to strengthen scientific knowledge and provide scientific information relevant for the future policy decisions related to the sustainable use of natural resources in the areas of food, agriculture, forests and fisheries. International co-operation in these fields has become increasingly important as food production systems are increasingly globalized. The CRP achieve its objectives:
- By funding fellowship awards from 6 to 26 weeks for individual scientists in other CRP member countries;
- By sponsoring events (conferences or workshops).
Objectives

- Places a policy emphasis on all the activities it funds.
- Focuses on global issues such as food security, climate change and the inter-connectedness of economies through trade and scientific co-operation.
- Promote co-ordination among stakeholders to ensure that their objectives do not overlap or contradict each other
