The Data School, in partnership with UN Women, is inviting applications from creative representatives from Central Asia to participate in an art residency, to create art products and stories based on gender data.
Art Kazan is a program for creators that includes online training in data science, a four-day art residency in Central Asia, and the opportunity to present their work at an international exhibition. Art Kazan is also a symbol of the multicultural diversity of Central Asia, representing a place where different national contexts can merge into unique creativity within the framework of the initiative.
The goal of the program is to explore contemporary art movements based on gender data for positive change.
Cost Covered
- All expenses related to participation in the art-residence and creation of the art-project will be covered by the organizers.

- Main requirements: be over 18 years of age at the time of registration and have citizenship of one of the Central Asian countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
