The Bilding Art and Architecture School is inviting applications for its Bildingship Residency Program to offer work scholarship to young artists.
Bildingship is a work scholarship for young artists who are expected to use a studio space at bilding for half a year (optionally extendable) to show their art, and to work in the bilding workshop on a part-time basis. The aim is to bring the concept and working methods of bilding closer to the artists and at the same time to be able to convey artistic creation processes directly to the children and young people based on their own work on site, to build mutual bonds and to expand the international discourse in the area of art and culture education with young people through practical experience in bilding.

- A free place to stay in Innsbruck.
- An employment relationship of a marginal nature with approximately 10 hours per week (€500). All other living expenses are to be covered by the artists themselves.
- The artists have unrestricted access to the bilding workshops as well as the spacious outdoor areas for work and exhibitions.
- Studio space: The materials available on site and the workshop equipment are also available.
Duration
- The duration is one semester and can possibly be extended to two semesters. Period: July 1, 2025 – February 7, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
- Artists from the fields of art and architecture with language skills in German and/or English, with an interest in collaborative artistic work with children and young people and max. 31 years are encouraged to apply.

- Brief description of your own projects during the residency (max. 1 page)
- Portfolio (max. 10 pages)
- Tabular CV (including date of birth) and artistic career.
