The Cooperation and Cultural Action Service (SCAC) of the French Embassy in Mali is setting up for the year 2024 for the second consecutive year, a fund dedicated to young people, with the aim of encouraging entrepreneurship in the sports environment and encourage the development of economic activities linked to sport.
Amount
- The bonuses awarded to the winning projects will vary from 1,330,000 CFA francs to 2,500,000 CFA francs depending on the quality and relevance of the files submitted.
Eligibility Criteria
- The competition is open to all young athletes aged 15 to 30, whether they are members of clubs or independent, presenting creation or development projects oriented towards the sporting environment. These projects may include: requests for sports equipment, space planning, or other innovative initiatives.
Selection of Projects
- The evaluation of projects will be based on criteria such as originality, impact, commitment, motivation of the candidate or team, technical, economic and commercial feasibility, as well as the anticipated impact on the territory or the direct entourage of athletes. Projects that merge sport with other fields such as the environment, health, gender, education, social assistance, or digital technology will be particularly appreciated.
Ineligible
- Funding will not cover the payment of per diem, study trips abroad, participation in conferences, the organization of sports tournaments, rewards, salaries, organization of workshops or other international events. In addition, any request in contradiction with the laws and regulations in force in Mali will not be considered.
