Call for Projects “Quai de Scène” for Artists

They encourage radical artists from various communitites to develop and present innovative new works. They promote the development of socially engaged contemporary artists and art forms.

Their mission is to develop and present innovative visual and performance artists, promote interaction among people of diverse cultural backgrounds, and engage artists and communities in cross-cultural dialogues on social, cultural, and artistic issues.

Their space is dedicated to originality and innovation, anchored in theatrical art as a base but open to all forms of artistic expression. They encourage radical artists from diverse communities to develop and present innovative new works. They promote the development of socially engaged contemporary artists and art forms.

For their 2024-2025 programming, the new performance hall which will open in the fall of this year, “Quai de scène” is looking for politically incorrect and offbeat shows (solo or group): expanded arts, immersive shows, hybrid shows, performances, dance, music, unusual cabaret, happenings, visual arts which correspond to the different themes which will be programmed according to the following months:

• January-February: Love
• March: Women
• April-May: The earth
• June-July: LGBT
• November-December: Human rights

What you will get?

• Each artist will receive a maximum of €1000 (including tax), which includes:
  • Travel + accommodation
• They take care of:
  • Technical staff + lighting and sound equipment
  • The meal.

Eligibility Criteria

• Artist(s) and/or companies of all nationalities.
• They prioritize eco-responsible projects
• Sending a complete artistic file including:
  • A note of intention,
  • A presentation of the proposed event
  • All visual or audio elements
  • A technical sheet of the project/Budget
  • The text, if it exists
• Files that are incomplete or do not respond to the themes will be excluded from the selection.
