Are you between 11 and 17 years old and have a collective project? Applications are now open for the Call for Projects for Young People in the Hautes-Alpes to support the first collective projects of a social utility or general interest nature.
The Department and the Hautes-Alpes Joint Social Security Fund are jointly launching this call for projects for the fifth year, so as to:
- To improve the coverage rate in the department of the offer aimed at 11-17 year olds;
- To qualitatively improve the offer, particularly in supporting young people towards
- To harmonize approaches for young people;
- To structure and lead a network of youth actors in the Hautes-Alps.

Funding Information
- The amount of the grant will be between a minimum threshold of €500 and a ceiling of €5,000.
Eligible Expenses
- Expenses are related to the actual cost of the project.
- For example, investments or the costs of supervisory staff whose positions are already funded by the SDJES, the Department, or the Joint Social Security Fund will not be covered.
Eligibility Criteria
- The young beneficiaries must live in the Hautes-Alpes;
- The project must be supported and validated in advance by the project’s reference structure;
- The project must be led by a collective (at least 2 young people);
- The candidates must plan a presentation of their projects;
- The winning candidates must plan a restitution at the local level by presenting their completed project to an identified audience (Town hall, school, social center, sports clubs, etc.) and possibly at the departmental level at the request of the funding organizations;
- Respect of the deadlines for submitting applications;
- The young person must be the effective initiator of the project; Self-financing actions must be proposed.
Ineligibility Criteria
- Projects presented by structures as part of their regular activities;
- Projects during young people’s school hours;
- Projects organized within the school framework between teaching staff and students for academic or work-study purposes;
- Outings organized by educational establishments;
- Projects relating to participation in or the organization of a sports competition included in the federal calendar;
- Study and internship projects as well as specific needs (housing, health, transport, permits, etc.);
- Projects proposed by a facilitator without initiative or responsibility of the young people; Projects supervised by medical-social establishments or services.
