Deadline: 10 July 2025
The Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council is delighted to announce the launch of its Tidy Districts Competition for 2025.
The Tidy Districts programme continues to evolve —moving beyond competition to focus on recognition, collaboration, and shared learning. The aim is to foster a deeper sense of pride in their communities, not just in how they look, but in how they function as inclusive, sustainable, and connected places.
The Tidy Districts programme offers Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council an opportunity to recognise and reward the voluntary efforts of residents’ associations, tidy district and tidy town groups to enhance their local environment.
While Tidy Districts began with a focus on anti-litter, its brief has expanded over the years to recognise and encourage the contributions of communities in the areas of biodiversity, community engagement, waste prevention and climate action.
