The Income Tax Department in collaboration with MyGov is excited to host a nationwide Mascot Design Competition aimed at encouraging creativity and civic engagement among citizens.
This unique initiative invites participants to conceptualize and design a mascot that personifies the values, vision, and mission of the Income Tax Department of India. The mascot should be a symbol of trust, transparency, responsibility, and service, reflecting the department’s commitment to nation-building through efficient and taxpayer-friendly services.
Benefits
- Top three winners will receive a gift hamper containing Departmental souvenirs and E-certificate.
Eligibility Criteria
- Entry into the contest is open to all citizens (above 18 years) of India.
Application Requirements
- Submissions must be in high-definition digital formats (e.g., JPEG, PNG), accompanied by a brief description (up to 200 words in either English or Hindi) explaining the concept.
- The theme of the mascot should embody the values of the Income Tax Department – trust, transparency, and service – while symbolizing its commitment to nation-building through:
- Progressive tax policies
- Efficient and effective administration
- Enhanced voluntary compliance
