Are you passionate about international affairs, diplomacy, governance, or global policy? The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia is excited to announce the launch of Yerevan Dialogue Young Fellows 2025 – a new youth-centered initiative under the umbrella of the Yerevan Dialogue international forum.
Yerevan Dialogue is an international forum initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, serving as a platform for fostering strategic dialogue on key global challenges. The forum brings together high-level leaders, politicians, policymakers, diplomats, academic and journalists from around the world to engage in vital discussions regarding regional cooperation, governance’s future, global order and other relevant themes.
The forum’s goal is to create an international network of young leaders and promote conversation about modern governance challenges such as security, geopolitics, regional cooperation, green development, connectivity, and AI politics. The event offers a unique opportunity to interact with high-level representatives from political, corporate, and intellectual circles throughout the world. Participants will improve their abilities through panel discussions while also seeing Armenia on organised tours and cultural excursions.
This special youth component aims to engage the next generation of international leaders in the ideas and spirit of the Yerevan Dialogue. It seeks to build a diverse network of young professionals dedicated to inclusive diplomacy, global collaboration, and innovative policymaking.
Objectives
- Provide a platform for youth voices in diplomacy, governance, and global affairs;
- Build long-term connections between future decision-makers across regions;
- Offer professional development through policy dialogue and peer learning.
Benefits
- Participants successfully complete the program will receive a certificate from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
Costs Covered
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia will cover all costs associated with the participation, which will include international flights, accommodation, meals and local transportation.
- Dates:
- Participants must arrive in Yerevan on May 25, 2025 and depart by May 30, 2025.
- Travel Expenses:
- The round-trip airfare will be provided. The organisers will book flights following confirmation of attendance.
- Accommodation:
- The accomodation for the entire stay of the program will be provided.
- Visa:
- The organisers will assist with Armenian visa procedures.
- Program Logistics:
- Participants will receive detailed pre-arrival information, including the full program agenda, cultural tips, and preparatory materials.
Eligibility Criteria
- Criteria: Profile of Participants
- The program targets talented, smart and motivated early-career professionals who have exhibited an interest in international affairs and governance.
- Applicants must:
- Be between 22-35 years old at the time of the forum
- Demonstrate proficiency in English (working language of the forum)
- Hold a Master’s degree or be currently enrolled in a Master’s program
- Have relevant academic or professional interest/experience in diplomacy, international relations, economics, governance, technology, environmental policy or other related fields
- Exhibit strong analytical skills, curiosity and the ability to contribute to intercultural dialogue
- Be available and fully committed to participate in the full duration of the program
Application Requirements
- A CV highlighting academic and professional experience.
- Submit a 400-word motivation letter explaining their interest in the program and outlining the program’s relevance to their present work or studies.
