The European Commission with its Blockchain Solutions for Monitoring the Multifunctionality of European Forests Program seeks to support activities that advance the knowledge on these methods in the context of distributed information for forest monitoring.
This call aims to support a project that will demonstrate how digital solutions, such as blockchain technology, can be utilized to create transparent and immutable records that enhance trust among stakeholders and ensure data integrity over time.
The goal is to improve the accessibility, reliability, traceability, and efficiency of forest-related data collection and analysis. Supported activities must demonstrate and showcase how such digital solutions can offer novel and practical tools to support European level forest monitoring of selected forest functions.
Funding Information
- Applications can request a contribution of max. 60,000 euro.
- Expected duration of participation: 12 Months.

- E-1 Description of criteria:
- Applicant is a legal entity (legal person)
- Clarification:
- If the application is submitted by a consortium (grouping of legal persons represented by a coordinator), this criterion applies to all the participants This call is not open for applications from natural persons
- E-2 Description of criteria:
- Applicant is eligible for funding under the European Union Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Program.
