Deadline: 24 January 2025
The BIRCA Kids provides space for performing arts families based in Denmark (family is interpreted broadly and can include grandparents, for example) who wish to participate in a one-week family residency at BIRCA residency center, Bornholm.
The purpose is to invite children as co-creators in the artistic process, with a focus on children’s creativity.
The program focuses on cohesion between the selected families, where they support joint activities and dialogue through a creative start-up workshop, with the participation of My Grönholdt from the dance company MYKA, in the first few days.
