The Bharat ke Badhte Kadam – A Janbhagidari- Photo Contest invites citizens from all walks of life to share photographs that show their participation in any Janbhagidari initiative that contributed to the progress of the nation.
This contest is about Janbhagidari — people’s participation. Whether you live in a city or a village, whether you are a student, a worker, or a homemaker — you can share a photo and a story of your Janbhagidari and show how Bharat is growing and changing. Example- Swachha Bharat initiative, Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, Avoiding Single use Plastic, Following Mission LiFE etc.
Focus Areas
- Environment protection initiatives
- Technology in daily life: digital services, UPI, or Smart Cities
- Women and youth leading progress
- Rural development and clean, green Bharat and my participation
- Bharatiya culture and heritage in modern times and my participation
- Any powerful image showing Bharat’s transformation with People’s participation
Funding Information
- 11 top winners will get the Cash Reward of INR. 11,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- The contest is open to all Indian citizens.
Application Requirements
- The photograph must be of HD quality, theme-based, and in JPEG/PNG or PDF format.
- Photographs containing inappropriate, offensive, or unlawful content, including nudity, violence, human rights or environmental violations, or anything against Indian laws, culture, or moral values, will be disqualified immediately.
- Along with your photo, write a short note of 50 – 100 words describing your experience and inspiration.
- Entries will not be accepted after the contest deadline.
- The photograph must be taken by the participant and must not include copyrighted or third-party content without appropriate permissions.
- Submissions via other platforms or offline methods will not be accepted.
- Participants grant the organisers an exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use their photograph, including intellectual property rights.
- The submission must comply with the Indian Copyright Act, 1957. Any copyright infringement will result in disqualification.
- Participants must ensure their MyGov profile is complete and up to date.
- In case any dispute or difference arises, the decision of the jury shall be final. Expenses incurred for this purpose will be borne by the participants themselves.
- By participating, the users accept these Terms and Conditions. Participants shall abide by all the terms and conditions of the competition, including any amendments or further updates.
