Deadline: 14 January 2025
The Centre Culturel Irlandais’s Artist Residency Programme offers great opportunities for artists of all disciplines to tap into the resources of Paris and the CCI, as well as being an important means of showcasing Ireland’s dynamic contemporary culture on an international stage.
Benefits
- Each resident artist will receive a stipend of €800 per month.
- The bursary covers travel and accommodation in the Centre Culturel Irlandais. The artist is expected to spend the period agreed in the Centre.
- Each residency covers just one bedroom, one stipend and one return journey to Paris. If you are planning to collaborate with another artist(s), and are not sharing a bedroom, you must both/all apply separately and indicate your collaborative project in your application.
- The artist is in charge of purchasing their own return travel tickets to avail of the residency. The CCI will reimburse the cost of the tickets and this can be added to the stipend on request. Should the amount be over a total sum of 300€, the difference is the responsibility of the artist.
- Artists may apply for a second residency. If they have already been awarded a residency with stipend, this is on the understanding that they will be offered accommodation and travel only.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be Irish citizens or normally resident on the island of Ireland, with professional involvement in creative practice.
