The Young Forest Champions Initiative, under the AIM4Forests programme, is a dynamic initiative designed to empower youth in Kenya, Zambia, Uganda, Ghana, and Peru to take on leadership roles in forest conservation and climate action. This initiative provides mentorship, training, and hands-on experience to young people passionate about restoring forests, monitoring ecosystems using advanced technologies like remote sensing, and protecting vital landscapes.

Eligibility Requirements
- To apply, you must:
- Be between 18 and 30 years old at the time of application.
- Be a current university student or recent graduate.
- Reside in Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Ghana, or Peru.
- Have an intermediate or higher proficiency in English.
- Have a reliable internet connection to participate in the initiative.
- Commit to full participation in the initiative activities throughout 2025.
- Young women and men, individuals from Indigenous groups, and persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
