Applications now open for Practice Parliament for Women 2025! If you’re a Maldivian woman, 25+, ready to lead and represent, this is your chance.
The Practice Parliament for Women series is an initiative that aims to provide the opportunity for women to build their capacity and confidence to participate in democrative processes, become change makers in their communities and eventually contest for elected positions.
The ‘Practice Parliament for Women 2025′ program will be held in Male’ City from 5th July (Saturday) to 12th July (Saturday) 2025. Interested Maldivian women over the age of 25 can apply for the program.
Eligibility Criteria
- Women aged 25.
- Residing in Maldives.
- Diverse backgrounds encouraged.
- Seats reserved for persons with disabilities.
- Travel Support for those residing outside Greater Male’.
Selection Criteria
- Participants will be selected based on their enthusiasm and commitment to participate in the program.
- A total of 40 particiapants will be selected, with due consideration to facilitate equitable participation of persons with disabilities and applicants from diverse backgrounds.
