Applications open for Comic Story Contest (India)

This initiative seeks to raise awareness about the transformational impact of government schemes on tribal communities through the medium of storytelling and visual art. Citizens across India are encouraged to creatively depict success stories, community changes, and empowerment enabled by these schemes.

Participants must illustrate how tribal communities have benefitted from specific government initiatives—such as Van Dhan Vikas Kendra, Eklavya Model Residential Schools, or Pradhan Mantri Aadi Adarsh Gram Yojana—through an engaging comic format.

• The winner will receive a cash prize of ₹20,000.

Application Requirements

• Brief Description (max 100 words in both English & Hindi)
• Comic Story (in PDF format, max 10 pages)
• A clear mention of the government scheme(s) featured
• Employees of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and individuals involved in organizing the competition, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.
• Participants may create their comic strips using any medium (e.g., pencil, pen, markers, or digital tools). Hand-drawn artwork must be scanned for submission, while digital comics should be clear and legible.
• Digital comics must be submitted in PDF format (max 10 pages).
• Each participant may submit only one entry. Multiple submissions will lead to disqualification.
• All entries must be submitted on the MyGov platform. Submissions through other modes will not be accepted.
• Entries submitted after the deadline or with incomplete MyGov profiles will not be considered. The participant must be the same person as the profile owner.
