The Algerian journalistic profession, Ooredoo Algeria has launched the 18th edition of the “Media Star” competition dedicated to professional journalists in the categories of print media, electronic media, radio and television programs.
This new edition addresses a current topic perfectly suited to the digital age and artificial intelligence.

- “Digital transformation in Algeria in the era of artificial intelligence: challenges, issues and perspectives”.
Categories
- The prizes will reward the best works in the following categories:
- General and specialized print media;
- Electronic media;
- Radio programs;
- Television programs.
Funding Information
- 1st Prize: 500,000 DA
- 2nd Prize: 300,000 DA
- 3rd Prize: 200,000 DA
Eligibility Criteria
- The Media Star competition is aimed at professional journalists from different media outlets and rewards the best work in all journalistic genres.
Application Requirements
- Journalists can submit their applications on the competition platform, then fill out a form and attach supporting documents (ID photo, press card and journalistic work (article, sound and video recordings) as well as the signature of the consent attached to the application form for the Media Star competition for the collection, processing and storage of their personal data by Ooredoo.
