The World Justice Project is thrilled to invite nominations for its Anthony Lewis Prize to recognize journalistic courage and craft that strengthens accountability, advances adherence to rule of law principles, and builds awareness of the foundational importance of the rule of law.

- The Lewis Prize celebrates outstanding reporting on rule of law issues, such as:
- Government accountability
- Human and civil rights
- Access to justice
- Open government
- Corruption
- Criminal justice
- Judicial independence

- The next winner of the prize will be celebrated at World Justice Forum 2025: Standing Up for the Rule of Law, to be held in Warsaw, Poland, June 23-26, 2025.
Prize Information
- Award amount: $10,000
Eligibility Criteria
- The prize will be awarded to a currently working journalist (or a team of journalists working on an in-depth series) who has demonstrated excellence in rule of law reporting.
- The journalist’s work will be judged on the initiative and courage of the journalist, the quality of the coverage, and how effectively it has contributed to advancing the rule of law and awareness of its foundational importance.
- Nominees can be from any country for work published in any language, but all entries must be in English or translated into English.
- Anyone can nominate a journalist, including self-nominations/applications.
