The World Photography Organisation is inviting applications for its Latin America Professional Award to celebrate dynamic and inspiring photographic work currently created in Latin America.
With thousands of people across the planet viewing the successful projects, the aim is for these photographers to benefit from publishing deals, gallery representation and international coverage.

Eligibility Criteria
- Open to all photographers from specific Latin American countries.
- To be considered for the Latin America Professional Award, participants must have the nationality of one of the following Latin American countries and reside in any of these during the period of the award (June 1, 2025 – January 2026) Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico and Peru.
Application Requirements
- All photographers from Latin American countries entering bodies of work (five to ten images) to any of the ten categories in the Sony World Photography Awards’ Professional competition will be considered for the Latin America Professional Award.
