Nominations are now open for the UK Social Mobility Awards, a nationwide leadership initiative focused on advancing social mobility.
The UK Social Mobility Awards are a unique set of awards that have been specifically established to recognise and encourage action that will promote and increase social mobility within Britain’s companies and institutions. Entries will be judged by leading people from the business, public and the non-profit world.
Eligibility Criteria
- This awards programme is only open to UK-based private sector and public sector organisations, universities, and schools and colleges that have at least 50 employees.
Application Requirements
- The written submission will be in seven parts:
- Executive summary (150-200 words)
- Aims (150-200 words): What problem was the activity initiated to address?
- Activity (500-600 words): Clear description of activity/activities and resources expended
- Enablers (150-200 words): Which stakeholders were involved?
- Challenges (150-200 words): Organisational or resource challenges experienced
- Your reach (150-200 words): Public promotion of activity and/or promotion of social mobility as a priority on website/social media
- Outcome and how success was measured (200-300 words): Impact of the activity that have been seen, or are expected, in relation to advancing social mobility.
