Applications are now open for the Neptune Awards to help minimize their impact on these resources, even while using them for human benefit, resulting in more resilient bodies of water including healthy marine life and coastlines.
The Neptune Awards are broad based and cover all maritime, blue economy, ocean environmental, and coastal resiliency topics, as well as data gathering and analysis.

- Amount: $100,000 USD
Eligibility Criteria
- 30 Global Semifinalists will be chosen. Based on the breakdown of applications received over their history, they will choose 12 from The Americas; 6 total from Europe, Middle East, and Africa; and 2 total from Asia and Oceania.
- The remaining 10 semifinalists will be selected “at large” to give their review team regional flexibility in any given year. All semi-finalists to be chosen by August 22.
- 15 Finalists (announced Sept. 23rd) will present at Ocean Exchange in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Delegates, chosen by Ocean Exchange, and representing business, academia, government, nonprofits and offer valuable networking opportunities.
