The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India in collaboration with MyGov is organising Plastic Pollution-Free Future Infographics Challenge.
The challenge will invite participants to design informative and visually appealing infographics that highlight the impact of plastic waste on the environment and promote eco-friendly alternatives. Infographics can include key facts, statistics, tips for reducing single use plastic, and creative solutions to combat plastic pollution.
The objective is to raise awareness and present information in a visually compelling and factual manner. Participants must submit original infographics that align with the challenge theme: “End Plastic Pollution”.
Prize Information
- Top three winners be given cash prizes worth INR 5000/- each.
- MoEF&CC will give E-certificates of Appreciation to the winners.
- Outstanding entries may be shared on the Ministry’s social media handles or any event as decided by the Ministry.
Eligibility Criteria
- The competition is open to Indian citizens.
Evaluation Criteria
- Visual Appeal & Design Aesthetics: Use of colours, fonts, layout, data representation, clear messaging
- Content Accuracy & Relevance: Use of correct and relevant factual data & statistics
- Creativity: Innovative presentation, smooth visual storytelling, impactful solutions
Application Requirements
- Format: JPEG or PNG.
- Size: Not exceeding [4 MB].
- Language: English and/or any local language.
- Entries must be original and not infringe on any third-party rights. Plagiarized or AIgenerated content will be disqualified.
